ORDER
New Delhi, the 22nd November, 1979
S.O. 633(E)—In exercise of powers conferred by the third' proviso to sub-section (1) of section 10 of the Comptroller and Auditor General's (Duties, Powers and Conditions of Service) Act, 1971 (56 of 1971), the President, after consul- tation with the Comptroller and Auditor General, hereby re- lieves the Comptroller and Auditor General from the respon- sibility of maintaining the General Provident Fund Accounts of Class IV employees of the Government of Madhya Pra- desh, and of those Class III employees (permanent employees and temporary employees with one year's continuous service) of the Government of Madhya Pradesh whose names do not appear in the establishment pay bills (excluding the primary school teachers of the Education Department and the Tribal and Harijan Welfare Department),
2. This order shall come into force with effect from the
accounts of 1979-80.

1348 THE GAZETTE OF INDIA : EXTRAORDINARY [PART I I ^ S E C. -Vi)] ORDERS.O. 634(E).—In exercise of powers conferred by sub- section 2 of section 10 of the Comptroller and Auditor General's (Duties, Powers and Conditions of Service) Act, 1971 (56 of 1971), the President, Hfter consultation with the Comptroller and Auditor General, hereby revokes the arrange- ments in force in regard to maintenance of the General Pro- vident Fund Accounts of temporary class in employees (ex- cluding those whose names do not appear in Pay bills) of the Government of Madhya Pradesh for the first year of their service and entrusts the Comptroller and Auditor General of India with the responsibility thereof.
2. This order shall come into force with effect from the
accounts of 1979-80.
