New Delhi, the 24th November, 1979

8.0. 75S(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-claugc (ii) of clause (b) of sub-section (1) of section 80 of the Gold (Control) Act, 1968 (45 of 1968), the Central Government hereby directs that any person aggrieved by any decision or order made under the said Act by any officer below the rank of a Collector of Central Excise or of Customs may prefer a.n appeal against such decision or order within the period specified in the said section 80 to the Appellate Collector of Customs.
