NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 28th November, 1979
S.O. 764(E) In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-clause (a) of clause 2 of the Jute (Licensing and Control) Order 1961, the Central Govern- ment hereby appoints each of the officers of the State Government of Bihar specified belcw also to exercise the powers of the Jute Commissioner, within their respective jurisdiction in the State, under sub-clauses (a), (b) and (c) of clause 11 of the said Order :—
1. Joint Director of Agriculture (Jute), Bihar, Purnea.
2. Joint Director of Agriculture, Muzaffarpur/Bhagalpur,
3. Special Deputy Director of Agriculture, Purnea.
4. Jute Development Officer, Bihar, Samastlpur.
5. Assistant Director of Agriculture (Jute) Marketing, Purnea.
6. Assistant Director of Agriculture, Saharsa/Motihari.
7. District Agriculture Officer, Purnea, Katihar, Saharsa, JVUdhuhani, Champaran East, Champaran West, Santhal Parganas. Gopalganj, Muzaifarpur and Darbhanga.
Explanation ; Each of the above officers shall exercise the said powers with- in the respective territorial jurisdiction as notified by the State Government of Bihar.
