सा० का० ति० 659 ( प्र) केन्द्रीय सरकार , अतिरिक्त उत्पाद- शुल्क (विशेष महत्व के माल ) अधिनियम, 1957 ( 1957 का 58) की धारा 3 की उपधारा ( 3) के साथ पठित केन्द्रीय उत्पाद शुल्क नियम, 1944 के नियम 8 के उप- नियम ( 1 ) द्वारा प्रदत्त शक्तियों का प्रयोग करते हुए , भारत मरकार के वित्त मंत्रालय ( गजस्त्र विभाग ) की अधि- सूचना सं ० 226/77 केन्द्रीय उत्पात्र -शुल्क नारीत्र 15 जुलाई, 1977 में निम्नलिखित और संशोधन करती है, अर्थात्:--
उक्त अधिसूचना के प्रथम परन्तुक में,-
(क) खंड (iv) में, "'धोनी' , साड़ी ", ' लॉग क्लाथ ( लठ्ठा) , ' 'कमीज का कपड़ा' या ' ड्रिल ' के विवरण के अनुरूप हैं" शब्दों के स्थान पर , "नियंत्रित धोती' , 'नियन्त्रित माही', 'नियंत्रित लाँग क्लाथ (लट्ठा)', 'नियंत्रित कमीज का कपड़ा ' या ' नियंत्रित ड्रिल " शब्द रख्ने जाएंगे;
(ख) खंड (' v) में, " ड्रिल की क्शा में " शब्दों के स्थान पर , "ऐमो ड्रिल, जो 'नियंत्रित ड्रिल' के विवरण के अनुरूप हैं, की दणा में" शब्द रखे जाएंगे ।

(Department of Revenue) NOTIFICATION New Delhi , the 30th November , 1979 CENTRAL EXCISE
G.S.R. 659 (E ) . In exercise of the powers conferred by sub- rule ( 1) of rule 8 of the Central Excise Rules , 1944 , read with sub - seciton ( 3 ) of Section 3 of the Additional Duties of Excise (Goods of Special Importance ) Act , 1957 (58 of 1957) , the Central Government hereby makes the following further amendments in the notification of the Government of India in the Minitry of Finance ( Department of Revenue ) No. 226 / 77 -Central Excises , dated the 15th July, 1977 , namely :- In the said notification , in the first proviso ,--
( a) in clause (iv) , for the words " which answer to the description of ' Dhoti ' " , 'Saree' , ' Long Cloth', 'Shirting ' or 'Drill ' " , the words " which answer to the description of 'Controlled Dhoti ' , ' Controlled Saree' , 'Controlled Long. Cloth ' , ' Controlled Shirting' or ' Con- trolled Drill " shall be substituted ;
(b) in clause ( v) , for the words " in the case of Drill " , the words " in the case of Drill which answers to the description of 'Controlled Drill ' " shall be substi- tuted.
