MINISTRY OF EXTERNAL AFFAIRS

ORDER

New Delhi, the 1st December, 1979

G.S.R. 662(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by section 15 of the Passports Act, 1967 (U of 1967), and in supersession of the Order of the Government of India in the Ministry of External Affairs No. G.S.R. 53(E) dated the 31st January, 1976, the Central Government hereby authorise all the State Governments and the administrators of the Union territories to sanction prosecution in respect of the offences under section 12 of the said Act within their respective territorial jurisdiction.
