ORDER
New Delhi, the 4th December, 1979
S.O. 784(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by section 3 of the Essential Commodities Act, 1955 (10 of 1955), the Central Government hereby makes the fo'lowing Order further to1 amend the Jute (Licensing and Control) Order, 1961, namely :—
1. (1) This Order may be called the Jute (Licensing and Control) Third Amendment Order, 1979.
(2) It shall come into force on the data of its publication in the Official Gazette.
2. In the Jute (Ti*ci. Jii. :•••'• ("j.itrol) Order, 1961, in item (b) of sub- clause (2) of clause 9- '•-. :'.;, liiv.- v, •.•..•. bracks .s and figures "'two years immedi- ately preceding the commencement of the Jute (Licensing and Control) Amend- ment, Order, 1977" the words "six months immediately preceding the date of the order" shall be substituted.
