सा. का. नि. 678(अ) केन्द्रीय सरकार , सीमा-शुल्क अधिनियम , 1962 (1962 का 52) की धारा 25 की उप- धारा ( 1) द्वारा प्रदत्त शक्तियों का प्रयोग करते हुए , यह समा- धान हो जाने पर कि लोकहित में ऐसा करना आवश्यक है , सीमा- शुल्क टैरिफ अधिनियम , 1975 (1975 का 51) की प्रथम अनुसूची के अध्याय 41 के अन्तर्गत आने वाली आर्द्र नील खालों और चमड़ों को , जब उनका मायात भारत में किया जाए , उन पर उग्रहणीय समस्त उत्पाद शुल्क से, जो उक्त प्रथम अनुसूची में विनिर्दिष्ट है , छूट देती है ।
यह अधिसूचना 30 नवम्बर , 1980 जिसमें यह दिन भी मम्मिलित है , तक प्रवृत्त रहेगी ।

CUSTOMS
G.S.R. 678(E). In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section ( 1) of section 25 of the Customs Act , 1962 (52 of

1962) , the Central Government, being satisfied that it is necessary in the public interest so to do , hereby exempts wet blue hides and skins falling under Chapter 41 of the First Schedule to the Customs Tariff Act, 1975 (51 of 1975 ) , when imported into India, from the whole of the duty of customs leviable thereon under the said First Schedule .
This notification shall be in force upto and inclusive of the 30th November , 1980 .

सा. का. नि. 679(अ ) केन्द्रीय सरकार , सीमा शुल्क अधिनियम , 1962 (1962 का 52) की धारा 25 की उप- धारा ( 1 ) द्वारा प्रदत्त शक्तियों का प्रयोग करते हुए , यह समा- धान हो जाने पर कि लोकहित में ऐसा करना आवश्यक है भारत सरकार के वित्त मंत्रालय (राजस्व विभाग) की अधिसूचना सं. 104-सी. शू. तारीख 10 मई , 1979 में निम्नलिखित और संशोधन करती है , अर्थात्:-
उक्त अधिसूचना की अनुसूजी में , क्रम सं . 231 और उससे सम्बन्धित प्रविष्टियों के पश्चात् , निम्नलिखित अन्तः- स्थापित किया जाएगा , अर्थात् :-

(52 of 1962) , read with sub- section (4) of section 31 of the Finance Act, 1979 ( 21 of 1979 ) , the Central Government being satisfied that it is necessary in the public interest so to do, hereby makes the following further amendment in the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance ( Department of Revenue) No. 104-Customs dated 10th May, 1979 , namely :-
In the Schedule to the said notification , after Serial No. 234 and the entries relating thereto, the following shall be inserted , namely :-
"235. No. 232- Customs dated 5-12-1979 "

सीमा-शुल्क
सा. का. नि. 680 (अ) केन्द्रीय सरकार , सीमा- शुल्क अधिनियम , 1962 ( 1962 का 52) की धारा 25 की उप-धारा ( 1) द्वारा प्रदत्त शक्तियों का प्रयोग करते हुए , यह समाधान हो जाने पर कि लोकहित में ऐसा करना आवश्यक है , सीमा शुल्क टैरिफ अधिनियम , 1975 (1975 का 51) की प्रथम अनुसूची के अध्याय 47 के अन्तर्गत आने वाले अप- शिष्ट कागज को , जब उसका भारत में आयात कागज बनाने में उपयोग के लिए गूदे के विनिर्माण के लिए किया जाए-
(1) उक्त प्रथम अनुसूची के अधीन उस पर उग्रहणीय समस्त सीमा- शुल्क से ; और
(2) द्वितीय वर्णित अधिनियम की धारा 3 के अधीन उस पर उग्रहणीय समस्त अतिरिक्त शुल्क से , छूट देती है :
परन्तु यह तब जब आयातकर्ता , ऐसे प्ररूप में और ऐसी रकम के लिए , जो सहायक सीमा- शूल्क कलक्टर विहित करें , बन्धपत्र का निष्पादन करके स्वयं को इस बाबत आबद्ध करे कि वह अपशिष्ट कागज की उतनी मात्रा की बाबत , जितनी सहा- यक मीमा- शुल्क कलक्टर को समाधानप्रद रूप में पूर्वोक्त प्रयोजन के लिए प्रयोग की गई प्रमाणित नहीं होती है , आयात करते समय इसमें अन्तर्विष्ट छूट के न होने पर ऐसी मात्रा पर उग्रहणीय शुल्क के बराबर रकम की मांग की जाने पर , संदाय करेगा ।

G.S.R.680(E) . In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section ( 1) of section 25 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962 ) , the Central Government , being satisfied that it is necessary in the public interest so to do , hereby exempt waste paper falling within Chapter 47 of the First Schedule to the Customs Tariff Act , 1975 (51 of 1975) , when imported into India for the manufacture of pulp for use in paper- making-
(i) from the whole of the duty of customs leviable thereon under the said First Schedule ; and
( ii) from the whole of the additional duty leviable thereon under section 3 of the second mentioned Act :
Provided that the importer shall , by the execution of a bond in such form and for such sum as may be prescribed

by the Assistant Collector of Customs, binds himself to pay on demand in respect of such quantity of waste paper as is not proved to the satisfaction of the Assistant Collector of Customs to have been used for the aforesaid purpose , an amount equal to the duty leviable on such quantity, but for the exemption contained herein, at the time of importation.

शीर्ष सं . 71.02 ( 1) के अन्तर्गत आने वाले अपरिष्कृत अन- गढ़ बहुमूल्य रत्नों को , जब उनका आयात भारत में किया जाए , उक्त वित्त अधिनियम की धारा 31 की उप - धारा ( 1) के अधीन उन पर उग्रहणीय सम्पूर्ण सहायक सीमा शुल्क से छूट देती है ।
2. यह अधिसूचना 31 मार्च , 1980 तक जिसके अन्त- र्गत यह तारीख भी है , प्रवृत्त रहेगी ।

In exercise of the powers conferred by sub - section ( 1 ) of section 25 of the Customs Act , 1962 (52 of 1962) , read with sub-section (4) of section 31 of the Finance Act , 1979 (21 of 1979 ), the Central Government , being satisfied that it is necessary in the public interest so to do , hereby exempts rough uncut precious stones , falling under Heading No. 71.02( 1 ) of the First Schedule to the Customs Tariff Act, 1975 (51 of 1975 ) , when imported into India , from the whole of the auxiliary duty of customs leviable thereon under sub- section ( 1) of section 31 of the said Finance Act .
2. This notification shall be in force upto and inclusive of the 31st March , 1980 .
