No. 602/1/79-DBK— In the Public Notice No. DRAW- BACK/PN 57/79 dated the 27th August, 1979, published in Part I, Section (i) of the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, the Central Government hereby makes the following corrections therein, namely:— 1004 GI/79 (1195)

1. For the existing words "under Sub-Serial No. 2606" Read "under Sub-Serial Nos. 2606, 2626, 2706 and 2720".

2. For the word "added" Read the word "substituted."

No. 602/J/79-DBK —Under rule 4 of the Customs and Central Rxcisc Duties Drawback Rules 1971 (Notification No. 52/F.No. 602/2/70-DBK published in the Ga/cttc of India Fxtra-ordinary, dated the 25th August, 1971), 1971 the Central Government hereby makes- the following amendments in the Table published in the Public Notice No. DRAWBACK/PN-1 dated the 15th October, 1971;as amedned from lime to time :— 1. For the oxisting entries against sub-item (c) of item (A) of Sub-Serial No. 2502, the following entries shall be substituted, namely;—

(c) Acrylic fibre content.

(i) In the yarn of Hosiery qua- Rs. 50.80 (Rupees fifty lity excluding hand knitting and paise eighty only) yarn. per kg.

(ii) Others Rs. 37.20 (Rupees thirty seven and paiso twenty only ) per kg.

Provided that no reabate of duty paid on fibres has been

obtained under the Central Excise Rules, 1944.

2. For the existing entries against sub-item (d) of item (i) of clause (c) of sub-serial No. 2503, the following entries shall be substituted, namely:—

(d) Acrylic fibre.

(i) In the yarn of Hosiery qua- Rs. 52.95 (Rupees fifty lity excluding hand knitting two and paise ninety yarn. five only) per kg

(ii) Others. Rs. 38.80 (Rs. Thirty- eight and paise eighty only) per kg.

Provided that no rebate of duty on fibres has been obtained

under the Central Excise Rules, 1944.

This Public Notice shall be deemed to have come into force

on'the 1st day of November, 1979,
