NOTIFICATIONS

New Delhi, the 27th December, 1979

CENTRAL EXCISES

G.S.R. 714(B).—In exercise of the powers conferred by

sub-rule (1) of rule 8 of the Central Excise Rules, 1944, the

Central Government hereby makes the following further

amendment in the notification of the Government of India

in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue) No. 20/

79-Central Excises, dated the 2nd February, 1979, namely :—

In the said notification, for the figures, letters and words

"31st day of December, 1979", the figures, letters and words

"31st day of March, 1980" shall be substituted.

G.S.R. 715(E).—In exercise of ihe powers conferred by sub-rule (1) of rule 8 of the Central Excise Rules, 1944, tie Central Government hereby makes the following amendment in the notification of [he Government of India in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue) No. 21/79-Central Ex- cises, dated the 2nd February, 1979, namely :—

In the staid notification, for the figures, letters and word* "31st day of December, 1979", the figures, letters and words "31st day of Murch, 1980" shall be substituted.
