NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 29th December, 1979
G.S.R. 721(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 13 of the Central Sales Tax Act, 1956 (74 of 1976), the Central Govern- ment hereby makes the following rules further to amend the Central Sales Tax (Registration and Turnover) Rules, 1957, namely :—
1. Them rules may be called the Central -Sales Tax (Registration and Turnover) (Amendment) Rules, 1979.
2. In the Central Snles Tax (Registration and Turnover) Rules, 1957, in rule 12,—
(i) in sob-rule (1), in the first proviso, for the figures "197"Vthe figure* "1980" shall be substituted;
(ii) In sub-rule (5), hi the third proviso, for the figure* "1979", the figures "1980" shall be substituted.
