NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 31st December, 1979
S.O. 878(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by section 114 of the Gold (Control) Act, 1968 (45 of 1968), the Central Government hereby makes the following rules further to amend the Gold Control (Forms, Fees und Mis- cellaneous Matters) Rules, 1968, namely:—
1. (1) These rules may be called the Gold Control (Foinw, Fees and Mis- cellaneous Matters) Amendment Rules, 1979.
(2) They shall come into foice on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette.
2. In the Appendix to the Gold Control (Forms, Fees and MihixlUineuus Matters) Rules, 1968, in Form No. G.S. 17,—
(i) for the brackets and words "(All Figures to be in grammes)", the brackets, words and figures "[All figures to be ifi grammes and in terms of pure gold (24 carats)]" shall be substituted ;
(ii) in item 2, for sub-item (c), the following sub-items shall be substituted,
namely:—
"(c) Certified Goldsmiths
(d) Others ";
(iii) after item 6, the following item shall be inserted, namely :—
"7. Remarks.—Total turnover of the dealer during the quarter.
