ORDER
New Delhi, the 15th January, 1980
S.O. 19(E)/18FB/IDRA/80—Whcrcns, by the Order of the Government of Ifrtia in the Ministry of Industry (Department of Industrial Development) No. S.O, 39(n)/18FB/lDRA/77, dated the 22nd January, 1977 (hereirurfr'er refcired to ns the said Order), the Central Government in exemse of the powers conferred by clauses (a) nnd (b) of sub-section (1) of section 1KFR of the Industrie.; (Development and Regulation) Act, J95! (65 of 1051), declared that—
(a) the Industrial Disputes Act, 1947 (14 of 1947), shall apply to the two industrial undertakings owned by" Messrs. Bengal Potteries Limited, Calcutta, with the adaptations that section 9A, Chapters VA and VB and section 33c of the said Act shall be omitted, and
ibj the operation of all contracts, assurances of property, agreements, settlements), awards, standing orders or other instruments in force immediately belore the date of publication of the said Order in the Official Gazette (other than those relating to secured liabili- ties to banks and financial institutions) to which the said industrial undertakings arc parties, or the com- pany owning such industrial undertakings is a party or which may be applicable to the industrial undertak- ings or the company, as I he case be, and all or any of the rights, privileges, obligations and liabilities accruing or arising thereunder before the said date shall remain suspended ;
And, whereas, the duration of the said Order was extended fiom time to time upto the 21st January, 1980 ;

Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred by clauses (a) and (b) of sub-section (1), read with sub-section (2) of section 18FB of the Industries (Development and Regula- tion) Act, 1951 (65 of 1951), the Central Government hereby extends the duration of the said Order upto and inclusive of the 21st January, 1981.
