NOTIFICATIONS

CUSTOMS
G S R. 10(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by sub- section (1) of section 25 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962), the Central Government, being satisfied that it is necessary in the public interest so to do, hereby exempts Liquefied Petroleum Gas (including propane and butane) falling under Heading No. 27.11 of the First Schedule to the Customs Tariff Act, 1975 (51 of 1975), when imported into India, from the whole of the duty of customs leviable thereon under the said First Schedule.
2. This notification shall be in force upto and inclusive of
the 30th day of September, 1980.
18 THE GAZETTE OF INDIA : EXTRAORDINARY [PART II—SEC. 3(*)] CUSTOMSG.S.R. ll(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by tub- section (I) of section 25 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962) read with sub-section (4) of section 31 of the Finunco Act, 1<>79 (21 of 1979), the Central Government, being satis- fied that it is necessary in the public interest so to do, hereby mates the following further amendment in the notification of the Government of India in tbo Ministry of Finance (De- partment of Revenue) No. 104-Customs, dated the 10th May, 1979 namely :—
In the Schedule annexed to tho said notification, after Serial No. 236 and the entriej relating thereto, the followi"| shall be inserted, namely :—
'237. No. 4-Ciis,loms, dated the 19th January, 1980."
