New Delhi, the 19th January, 1980
S-O. 42(E).---Whereas a general election has been held for the purpose of constituting a new House of the People ;
And whereas the President is of opinion that the Anglo-Indian community is not adequately represented in that House ;
Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred by article 331 of the Constitution of India, the President is pleased to nominate to the House of the People the following two members of that community, namely :—
1. Shri Frank Anthony and
2. Shri A. E. T. Barrow.
