NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 24th lanuary, 1980
No. F. 12(l)/80-R&C.—Whereas in pursuance of the provisions of section 2 of the Salary and Allowances of Leaders of Opposition in Parliament Act, 1977 (33 of 1977) the Chairman of the Council of States has recognised Shrl Lai K. Advani as the Leader of the Opposition in the Council of States.
Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred by Section 9 of the said Act, the Central Government hereby notifies Shri Lai K. Advani, as the Leader of the Opposition in tire Council of States with effect from the 21st day of January, 1980, for the purposes of the said Act.
