New Delhi, the 22nd January, 1980
FOREIGN TRAVEL TAX
G AR 12 (E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by section 36 of the Finance Act, 1979 (21 of 1979) the Central Government, being satisfied that it is necessary and expedient so to do, hereby exempts delegates numbering 2,500 coming to attend the Third General Conference of tbc United Nations Industrial Development Organisation being held in New Delhi from 21st January 1980 to 8th February 1980, from payment of foreign travel tax leviable under subjection (I) of section 35 of the said Act, in respect of their international journey to any place outside India at the close of the said Conference.
2, This notification shall remain in force vrpto and inclusive of the 22nd
February 1980.
