NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 24th January, 1980
G.S.R. 1S(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 3 of the All India Sciviccs Act, 1951 (.61 of Iy51) and in pursuance of rule 7 of the Indian Forest Service (Recruitment) Rules, 1966, the Central Government, after consultation with the State Governments and the Union Public Service Commission hereby makes the following rcgulaltions further to amend the Indian Forest Service (Appointment by Competitive Examination) Regulations, 1967, namely ;—
1. (1) These regulations may be called the Indian Forest Service (Appoint-
ment by Competitive Examination) Amendment Regulations, 1980.
(2) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the
Official Gazette.
2. In the Indian Forest Service (Appointment by Competitive Examination) Regulations, 1967, in condition (2) of regulation 4, for the figures "20" and "26' the figures "21" and "28" respectively shall be substituted.
