Schedule to the Customs Tariff Act, 1975 (51 of 1975), the Central Government, having regard to the economic develop- ment of the country, hereby makes the following amendment in the notification of the Government of India in the Depart- ment of Revenue and Banking No. 269-Customs dated the 2nd August, 1976, namely;—
In the said notification after Serial No. (4) and the entries relating thereto the following shall be inserted, namely :—

44 THF, GAZETTE OF INDIA : EXTRAORDINARY [PART II—SEC. 3fi)] CUSTOMS G.S.R. 26(E).— In exercise of the povvcis conferred by sub-section ( ]| of section 25 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962), the Central Government, being satisfied that it is necessary in the public interest yo to do, hereby exempts liquid nitrogen plant, its accessories ami spares, when imported into India for use in artificial inanimation Centres for Cuttle hreednu from the whole of the duty o[ customs leviable thereon under (he First Schedule k> the d i s t o rt Tmift Art 1975 (51 of 1975) and the wholo of the additional duty leviable thereon under section 3 of (he second mentioned Acl.
2. This notificati on shall be in force uplo and inclusive
of the 3 kt dav of December, 1980.

G.S.R, 27(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by sub- section (1) of section 25 of the Cusiums Act, l'J62 (52 ol 19f>2) read with sub-section (4) of .section 31 ol the Finance Act, 1979 (21 of 1979), the Central Government, being satisfied that it is necessary in the public interest so to do, hereby makes the following fuither amendment in the notifi- cation of the Government of India in (he Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue) No 104-Cusioms, dated the 10th May, 1979, namely :—
In the Schedule annexed to the said notification, after Serial No. 237 and the entiies relating thereto, the following shall be inserted, namely :~
"238 No.lO-Cusloms dated 30th January, 1980."
