Sub: Export of silvei manufactures having silver content not exceeding 10% of the f.o.b. value of the manufacture products other than those covered by S. No. 77fiv).
File No. 21/1/79-E1.—Attention h invited to the Exports (Control) Amend- ment Order No. E (C) 0,1977/ AM(144), dated 4th February, 1980 on the above subject.
2. Tt has been decided that silver manufactures having silver content not exceeding 10% of the f.o.b. value of the manufactured product other than those allowed under OGL. 3, will be allowed for exports 'on merits' and applications may be submitted to the Chief Controller of Imports and Exports, New Delhi for considera- tion.
3. As a consequence of this Public Notice, the pre-control commitments will also
be considered 'on merits* by Chief Controller of Imports and Exports.
4. Accordingly, the following sub-entry shall be added after S. No. 77 (iv) on page
22 of policy statement of Export Policy Book of 1979-80.
