The following Act of Parliament received the assent of President on the 12th February, 1980, and is hereby published for general information: —
THE CONTINGENCY FUND OF INDIA (AMENDMENT) ACT, 1980
No. 4 OF 1980
[12th. February, 1980.]
An Act further to amend the Contingency Fund of India Act, 1950.
BE it enacted by Parliament in the Thirty-first Year of the Republic of India as follows: —
1. (1) This Act may be called the Contingency Fund of India (Amend- ment) Act, 1980.
Short title and commence- ment.
(2) It shall be deemed to have come into force on the 22nd day of October, 1979.
2. To section 2 of the Contingency Fund of India Act, 1950 (herein- 49 of 1950.

after referred to as the principal Act), the following proviso shall be added, namely : —

Repeal and savins.
(2) Notwithstanding such repeal, anything done or any action taken under the principal Act, as amended by the said Ordinance, shall be deemed to have been done or taken under the principal Act, as amended hv tVii.ei A rt
