NOTIFICATIONS New Delhi, the Ist April, 1980

G.S. R. 179(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by sub- section (1) of section 25 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962), read with sub-section (4) of section 4 of the Finance Act, 1980 (13 of 1980), the Central Government, being satis- fied that it is necessary in the public interest so to do, hereby makes the following amendment in the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance (Department of

Revencue) 41-Customs dated the 25th March, 1980, namely :—

In the Schedule annexed to the said notification.

Serial No. 159 and the entries relating thereto shall beomitted. CUSTOMS G.S.R. 178.—In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 25 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962) the Central Government, being satisfied that it is necessary in the public Interest so to do, hereby rescinds the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue) No. 71 Customs dated the 25th March, 1978.
