NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 1st April, 1980
S.O. 237(E).—Tn exercise of the powers conferred by Sub-section (3) and (4) of Section 5A ol the Dock Workers (Regulation of Employment) Act, 1948 (9 of 1948), the Central Government hereby appoints Shri S, R. Das, Chairman, Calcutta Port Trust, as a member of the Calcutta Dock Labour Board, vice Shri R.H.M. D'Silva, Deputy Chairman, Calcutta Purt Trust, and also nominates him as the Chairman of the said Board and maLcs the following amendment in the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Shipping and Transport (Transpoit Wing) No. S.O. 148(E), dated tbe 27th January, 1978, namely :—
In the said notification :—
(i) under the heading "Members representing the- Central Government" against item 1. for the entry, "The Deputy Chairman, Calcutta Port Trust, Calcutta", the following entry shall be substituted, namely :
"The Chairman, Calcutta Port Trust, Calcutta".
(.ii) for paragraph 2, the following paragraph shall be substituted, namely :—
"2. The Central Government hereby nominates Shri S. R. Das, Chairman, Calcutta Port Trust, as the Chairman of the suiJ Board."
