S.O. 248 (E). In exercise of the powers conferred by sec-
tion 4 of the Securities Contracts (Regulation) Act , 1956 (42 of 1956) , the Central Government hereby rescindy the notifi- cation of the Government of Indiai n the Ministry of Finance (Department of Economic Affairs ) No. S.O. 709( E) , dated the 7th October , 1977 .
[No. 1 / 11 /SE /801 का. आ. 249(अ) केन्द्रीय सरकार , कलकत्ता स्टाफ एक्सचेंज एसोसिएशन लिमिटेड , कलकत्ता द्वारा प्रतिभूति संविदा (विनियमन) अधिनियम , 1956 (1956 का 42) की धारा 3 के अन्तर्गत मान्यता के लिए दिए गए आवेदन- पत्र पर विचार करने और इस बात से सन्तुष्ट होने के बाद कि ऐसा करना व्यापार के हित में तथा लोकहित में भी होगा प्रतिभूति संविदा (विनियमन) अधिनियम , 1956 की धारा 4 के द्वारा प्रदत्त शक्तियों का प्रयोग करते हुए एतद्दद्वारा इस एक्सचेंज को स्थाई आधार पर प्रतिभूतियों के संविदाओं के सम्बन्ध में ऐसी अन्य शसों के अनुसार जो बाद में निर्धारित की जाएंगी अथवा लागू की जाएंगी , मान्यता प्रदान करती है ।

S.O. 249(E) . The Central Government , having considered the application for recognition made under section 3 of the Securities Contracts ( Regulation ) Act, 1956 (42 of 1956) by the Calcutta Stock Exchange Association Limited, Calcutta and being satisfied that it would be in the interest of the trade and also in the public interest so to do , hereby grants , in exercise of the powers conferred by section 4 of the Secu- rities Contracts ( Regulation ) Act , 1956 , recognition to the said Exchange under section 4 of the said Act, on a perma- nent basis , in respect of contracts in securities subject to such conditions as may be prescribed or imposed hereafter .
