NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 21st April, 1980
G.S.R. 219(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 3 of the All India services Act, 1951 (61 of 1951), read with sub-rule (1), and the first proviso to sub- rule (2), of rule 4 of the I.A.S. (Cadre) Rules, 1954, the Central Government, in consultation with the Government of Karnataka hereby makes the following regulations further to amend the I. A.S. (Fixation of Cadre Strength) Regulations, 1955, namely :
1. (1) These regulations may be called the I.A.S. (Fixation of
Cadre Strength) Seventh Amendment Regulations, 1980.
(2) They shall come into force on the date of their publica-
tion in the official Gazette.
2. In the Schedule to the I.A.S. (Fixation of Cadre Strength) Regulations, 1955 under the heading "Karnataka" for the exist- ing entry; namely :—
"Commissioner of Grievances in the Karnataka Lok Ayukta-
1"
the following entry shall be substituted; namely :
"Commissioner of Grievances in the Karnataka State Vigi-
lance Commission—1".

(Pay) Rules, 1954, Ihe Central Government in consultation with the Government of Karnntaka hereby makes the following rules further to amend the I.A.S. (Pay) Rules, 1954, namely :
1.(1) These rules may be called the I.A.S (Pay) I-ourlh
Amendment Rules, 1980.
(2) They shall come into force on the date of their publica-
tion in the Official Gazette.
2. In the I.A.S. (Pay) Rules, 1954.- (a) In 'Schedule Ill-A-Posts carrying pay atro\e the senior scale of tho I.A.S. under the State Government's in the Table, against "Karnataka" occurring in the first column and (he corres- ponding entries in the second column, in place of existing entry namely : —
"Commissioner of Grievances in the Karnataka I.oK Ayukta"
the following entry shall be substituted namely :—-•
"Commissioner of Grievances in the Kamataka State Vigi-
lance Commission".

A G.S.R. 22KE),-In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-.vfction (i) of Section 3 of the All India Services Act, 1951 (61 of 1951), read with sub-rule (2) of Rule 4 of the Indian Administrative Service (Cadre) Rules, 1954, the Central Govern- ment, in consultation wnh the Government of Gujarat, hereby makes the following regulations further to amend the Indian Administrative Service (Fixation of Cadre Strength) Regulations, 1955, namely :—
1.(1) These Regulations may be called the Indian Adminis- trative Service (Fixation of Cadre Strength) Eight Amendment Rules, 1980.
(2) They shall come into force on the date of their publica-
tion in the Official Gazette.
