Subject : Import of firo turns.
F. No. IPC/25/4/80-"l.—In terms of Import Policy for April 1979— March, 1980, STC has imported flre arms as a canalising agency. These will be disposed of to eligible persons in accordance with the prescribed' pro- cedure. It has bfcen decided that persons obtaining the imported fire arms under these arrangements shall not be allowed to dispose of the same for a period of two years from the date of purchase of the fire arm. A suitable endorsement to this effect shall be made by the Arms Licensing Authority concerned on the relevant Arms - Licence. The Aims Dealers should, therefore, pointedly bring such sales to the notice of the Aims Licensing authorities concerned.
