NOTIFICATION

New Delhi, the 29th April, 1980

CENTRAL EXCISES

G.S.R. 245(E).—In exorcise of the powers conferred by sub-rule (1) of rule 8 of the Central Excise Rules, 1944, the Central Government hereby makes the following further amendments to the notification of ihe Government of IndiH in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue) No. 313/77-Centrnl Excises, dated the 8th November, 1977, namely :—

In the Table annexed to the said notification—

(1) against serial No. 7, in column (3), the word "and" in item (i) ihall

bo omitted, and after item (ii), the following items shall be inserted, namely :—

"(iii) Methyl Chloride (Chloro Methane}

(iv) Chlorine (liquid or gas)" ;

(2) against serial No. 7A, in column ii), for the existing entry, the follow-

ing entry shall be substituted, namely :
