S. O. 298(E) :-- The following Order made by the President is published for general information.
ORDER
Whereas by a proclamation issued on the 17th February, 1980, under clause (1) of article 356 of the Constitution, it has been declared
that the powers of the Legislature of Ihe Slate of Bihar shall be exercisabie by or under the authority of Parliament;
And whereas Parliament has authorised expenditure from the Consolidated Fund of that Slate for the services for a part of the finan-
cial year 1980-81;
And whereas the amount so authorised is found to be insufficient in cases of certain services and purposes; And whereas the House of the People is not in session ;md it is necessary to authorise expenditure from the Consolidated Fund of that
State pending the sanction of such expenditure by Parliament;
Now therefore, in pursuance of sub-clause (c) of clause (1) of article 357 of the Constitution, I, Neclam Sanjiva Reddy, President f India hereby authorise that, pending the sanction by parliament, expenditure of sums not exceeding those specified in column 3 of the Schedule annexed hereto and amounting in the aggregate to the sum of forty-four crores, forty-seven lakhs and thirty-eight thousand runees may be incurred from and out of the Consolidated Fund of the State of Bihar towards defraying the several charges during the linan- „;"! -*.-,r iQRn-Rl in resnect of the services and purposes specified in column 2 of (he said Schedule,
