NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 12th May, 1980
S.O. 3ll(K).—In exeicise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 5 of the Road Tranport Corporations Act, l""50 (64 of 1950) iead with rule 3 of the Delhi Transport Corporation (Members) Rules 1173, the Central Government hereby appoints Shri U. S. Shrivastuv IAS (U.T. 1960) as Chairman-cum-Gcneral Manager of the Delhi Transport Corporation from the date he takes over the charge of the post of ChairnKin-curn-Gcncral Manager, DTC and makes the following amendments in the notification of the Govern- ment of India in the Ministry of Shipping and Transport (Transport Wing) No. S.O. 238(E), dated the 1st May, 1979 namely :—
In the said notification—
(i) in paragraph 1, for the entry against item Ii), the words "Shri U. S. Shrivastuv, IAS Chairman-cum-General Manager, Delhi Transpoit Corporation" shall be substituted.
(ii) in paragraph 1, for the entry against item (iii), the words "Shri B. B. Mahajan, Joint Secretary, Ministry of Shipping & Transport" shall be substituted.
(iii) in paragraph 2 for the words and letters "Shri B. B. Mahajan" the
words and letters "Shri U, S. Shrivastuv" shall be substituted.
