CENTRAL EXCISES
G.S.R. 294 (E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-rule (1) of rule 8 of the Central Excise Rules, 1944, the Central, Government hereby makes the following amendment in the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue) No. 52/79-Ccntral Excises, dated the 1st March, 1979 namely:—
for the said notification, for the Table the following Table
shall be substituted, namely:—

No. 355/91/80-CUS-I] G.S.R. 295(E);—In exercise of the powers conferred by sub- rule (1) of rule 8 of the Central Excise Rules, 1944, the Central Government hereby makes the following further amendment in the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue and Insurance) No. 108/74- Ccntral Excises, dated the 20th June, 1974, namely:—
In the Table annexed to the said notification,—
(i) S. No. 1 and the entries relating thereto shall be ommitted;
and
(ii) S. Nos. 2 and 3 shall be renumbered respectively
as S. Nos. 1 and 2.

G.S.R. 296 (E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by sub- rule (1) of rule 8 of the Central Excise Rules, 1944, the Central Government hereby rescinds the notification of the Govern- ment of India in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Re- venue and Insurance) No. 164/69-Ccntral Excises, dated the 11th June, 1969.
