Subject.—Bonafide personal baggage of foreign touristj
FHc No. 4/8/71/E-I.—Attention is invited to Appendix 5 of the Hand Book of im-port-Export Procedures ]979-80 relating to export of bonafide personal baggage by bonafide foreign tourists.
2. On a review of the position, it has bcon decided lo revise the mone- tary limits upto which bonafide foreign tourists are allowed to take or send out articles purchased by them to their country of residence, from Rs. 1,000 to Rs. 10,000. Accordingly, the provisions appealing for bonalide foreign tourists under paragraph 2-Export Trade Control Restriction" of Section "(1) Bonafide personal baggage of a passenger going out of India to places other than Pakistan", shall be substituted as under :—
