INCOME-TAX
S.O. 3WflB).—In exercise of the powers conferred by section 295 of the Income-fax Act, 1961 (43 of 1961), the Central Board of Direct Taxes hereby makes the following rules further to amend the Income-tax Rules, 1962, namely :—•
1. (1) Theso rules may be called tho Income-tax (Third Amendment) Rules,
1980.
(2) They shall come into force at once.
2. In sub-rule (1) of rule 12 of the Income-tax Rules, 1962, in the proviso to sub-clause (1) of clause (b), for the figures, letters and words "1st day of April, 1979", the figures, letters and words "1st day of April, 1980" shall be substituted,
