NOTIFICATION New Delhi, the ?.4th June, 1980S.O. 443(E).—Whereas the Government of Orissa has de- clared the 24th June, 1980, which was fixed as the last date for filing nominations for the biennial elections to the Coun- cil of States for certain States including the State of Orissa by the Commission in its notification No. 318/80(1) dated the 17th June, 1980 issued under Section 3) of the Repre- sentation of the People Act, 1951, as a public holiday under Section 25 of the Negotiable Instruments Act, 1881 (21 of 1881) on account of the death of Shri V. V. Girl, Ex-President of India; 330 GI/80 (901)

(b) the 26th June, 1980 (Thursday), as the date for the

scrutiny of nomination');

And whelms it has become necessary to make tiecessary changes in the saiJ notification in terms of the said Section 39 of the said Act;

ft) the 28(h June, 1980 (Saturday) as the lust dale for

the withdrawal of cLtndiduluits; and

: (d) the 5th July, 1980 (Saturday), as the date on which
