NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 28th June, 1980
S.O. 474(E).—Whereas the Central Government is satisfied that the public interest requires that the Food Corporation of Tndia engaged in the foodstuffs industry which is specified in the First Schedule to Ihe Industrial Disputes Act, 1947 (14 of 1947), should be declared to be H public utility service for the purposes of the said Act;
Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred by Mub-ciausc (vi) of clause (n) of section 2 of the Industrial Dispu.es Act, 1947 (14 of 1947), Ihc Central Government hereby declares with immediate effect Ihe Food Corporation of India to be a public utility service for the purposes of the said Ac{ for a period of six months,
