Provided that the importer produces evidence to.the satis- faction of the Assistant Collector of Customs that such goods have, in fact, been manufactured in Nepal and con- tain not less than 80 per cent of Nepalese or Nep;ilcse and Indian materials and that the material inputs of the goods have been duly certified by His Majesty's Government of Nepal and approved by the Government of India in each case.

No. 552/117/79 LCI] G.S.R. 392(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 25 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962), read with sub-section (4) of section 4 of the Finance Act, 1980 (13 of 1980), the Central Government, being satisfied that it is necessary in the public interest so to do, hereby makes tho following further amendment in the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue) 41-Customs dated the 25th March, 1980, namely ;—
In the Schedule annexed to the said notification, after Serial No. 249 and the entries relating thereto, the following Serial No. and entries shall be inserted, namely :—
250 No. 132-Customs, dated 2nd July, 1980.
