CUSTOMS
G.S.R. 393(E).—In exercLc of the powers conferred by sub-section M) of section 25 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962), Itv; Central Government, King satisfied that it is necessary in the pubi'c inlereit ro to i'o, hereby exempts jute specialities falling under sub-Heading 2iii) of Heading No. It. of the Second Schedule to the Customs Tariff Act, 1975 (51 of 1975), when exported out of India, from the whole of ihe duly of customs leviable thereon under the said Second Schedule.
Explanation—In this notification "jute specialities" means jute fabrics, hnvirg more than 50 per cent of jute in terms of weight, in natural colour or hie >i.hnl or dyed or printed or chemically treated or cross-woven or specially woven or specially finished or specially designed, and whose F.A.S. value exceeds the F.A.S, value of hessian of standard construction, namely, 40"—10 oz. hy Rs. 3000 or more per tonne.
