NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 8th July, 1980
S.O.507(E).—Whereas the Central Government on the report of the Competent Authority under the Motro Railways (Construc- tion of Works) Act, 1978 is satisfied that the right of user (underground right) in the land, building, e t c, mentioned in the Schedule b;1ow should be acquired for a public purpose, namely, for construction of Metro Railway, Calcutta and other works connected there- with at the public expense in the city of Calcutta.
Now, therefore, it is hereby declared that in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of Section 10 of the Metro Railways (Construction of Works) Act, 1978, the Central Government do hereby acquire the right of user (underground right) in the land, build- ing, etc. referred to in the Schedule below.
This declaration is made to all whom it may concern.
Aplanof the land, building etc. in respsct of which the right of user (underground right) is icqulred, may be inspected in the office of the Competent Authority, Metro Railway, Calcutta.
Schedule showing the land, building, etc. in whloh the right of user (underground right) is acquired for the purpose of construction of Metro Railway and other works connected therewith for Calcutta Metro Railway.
