NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 8th July, 1980
S.O. No, 508(E)—Whereas the Central Government on the report of the Competent Authority under the Metro Railway (Construc- tion of Works) Act, 1978 is satisfied thatthe rightof the user (underground right) in the land, building, etc. mentioned in the Schedule below should be acquired for a public purpose, namely, for construction of Metro Railway, Calcutta tint.1 other works connecled there- with at the public expense in the city of Calcutta.
Now therefore, it is hereby declared that in exorcise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of Section 10 of the Metro Railways (Construction of Works) Act, 1978, the Central Government do hereby acquire the right of user (underground right) in the land, building, eic. referred to in the Schedule below.
Apian of the land, building, etc. in respect of which the right of usor (underground right) is acquired, may be inspected in the office of the Competent Authority, Metro Railway, Calcutta.
Schedule showing the land, building, etc. in which the right of user (underground right) is acquired for the purpose of construction of Metro Railway and other works connected therewith for Calcutta Metro Railway.
