NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 8th July, 1980
S.O. 515(E).^Whereas the Central Government on the report of the Competent Authority under the Mclro Railway (Construction of Works) Act, 1978 is satisfied that the right of user (underground right) i n Ihc land, building etc. mentioned in the Schedule below should be required for a public purpose namely, for construction of Metro Railway, Calcutta and other works connected therewith at the public expense in the city of Calcutta.
Now therefore, it is hereby declared that in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of Section 10 of the Metro Railways (Con-itruction of Works) Act, 1973, the Central Government do hereby acquire the right of user (underground right) in the land, building etc. referred to in the schedule below.
A plan of ths land, building etc. in respect of which the ri ,ht of user (underground right) is acquired, may be inspected in the office of the Competent Authrity, Metro Railway, Calcutta.
