NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 8th July, 1980
S.O. 517 (E).— Wh;reas tto Central Government on th; report of the Competent Authority under the Metro Railway (Construction of Works) Act,1978 is satisfied that the right of usei(undergvoiindrigril)in the land, building etc. mentioned in the Schedule below should be aquired for a public purpose namely, for construction of Metro Railway, Calcutta and other works connected therewith at the public expense in the city of Calcutta.
Now, therefore, it is hereby declared that in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of Section 10 of the Metro Railways (Construction of Works) Act, 1978, the Central Government do hjreby acquire the right of user (underground right) in the land, building etc. referred to in the schedule below.
Apian of the land, building etc. in respect of which thcright of u3er (underground right) is acquired, may be inspected in the office of ths Cimpstent Authority, Metro Railway, Calcutta.
