New Delhi, the 8th July, 1980
S.0.527(E).—Whereas the Central Government on the report of ths Competent Authority under the M;tro Railways (Construc- tion of Works) Act, 1978 is satisfied that the right of user (underground right) in the land, building, etc., m;ntioned in the Schedule below should be acquired for a public purpose, namely, for construction of Metro Railway, Calcutta and other works connected there- with at the public expense in the city of Calcutta.
