GSR, 407(E).—Whereas certain draft rules further to amend the r Cool Mines Labour Welfare £und Rules. 1949. were published as required by sub- scclion (1) of section 10 fo the Coal Mines Labour Welfare Fund Act, 1947 (32 of 1947) at page 164 of tlA; Gazette of India Extraordinary Part II-Sertion 3-Sub- section (i) dated the 19th March, 1980 under the notification of the Govern- ment of Jndia in the Ministry ot Steel, Mines and Coal (Department of Coal) No G.S.R. 105 (E), dated ihe 19th Match, 1980, inviting objections or sug- gestions from all persons likely to bo affected thereby, till the expiry of it period ut lorty live days from the publicatipn of the &aid notification in the- Official Gazette;
And whereas tbj said Gazette was made available to the public on the 19th
March, 1980;
And whereas no objections or suggestions were received from the public
on the said draft;
Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred by section 10 of the said Act, the Central Government heneby makes the following rules further to amend the Coal Mines Labour Welfare Fund Rules, 1949, namely :—
1.(1) Tb-se ruJes may be called the Coal Mine3 Labour Welfare Fund
(Second Amendment) Rules, 1980.
(2) They shall into force on the data of their publication in the Official
Gazette.
2. In sub-clause (i) of clause (a) of sub-rule (1) of rule 3 of the Coal Mines Labour Welfare Fund Rules, 1949, for the words "Officer of that Ministry", the words "Officer of that DepartmenL" shall be substituted.
