Subject:—Import Policy for April, 1980-March, 1981

the Import Policy for April, 1980-March, 1981, published under the Department of Commerce Public Notice No. 9-ITC(PN)/80 dated the 15th April, 1980.
2. The following amendments shall be deemed to have been made in the said Import Policy at the appropriate plaoos indi' cated below:—

After the existing entry No. 46, under the Heading "State Trading Corpora- tion of India", the following new entry shall be inserted:— "46-A. Cocoa-both beans and powder."

3. Imports of cocoa beans and cocoa powder by eligible importers against firm comml tments already made will be allowed only to the extent covered by irrevocable letters of credit opened through authorised dealers in foreign exchange before
the date of this Public Notice.
4. "Hie fallowing amendment shall also be deemed to have been made in thi Hand Book of Import—Export Procedures , 1980-81, published under the Department of Commerce Public Notice No- 10-ITC (PN)/80 dated the 15th April, 1980, at the appropriate places indicated below:—
