NOTIFICATION
Calcutta, the 16th July, 1980
S.O. 550(E).—Tn exorcise of the powers conferred by claus; 8 of the Jute (Licensing and Control) Order, 1961, read with the notifi- cation of the Government of India in the late Ministry of Commerce (Department of Foreign Trade) No. S.O. 517 (E) dated 25th Septem- ber, 1973, the Deputy Jute Commissioner hereby fixes, with immediate effect, the prices mentioned in the Schedule appended to this notifi- cation as the minimum prices at which raw jute and mesta of different varieties and grades specified in the said Schedule shall b; purchased or sold at the up-country markets in the different areas mentioned therein during the season July, 1980 to June 1981.
Explanation :
The prices mentioned in the Schedule appended to this Notification shall be exclusive of purchase tax, sales tax, market levies and
commission.
