DRAFT RULES
1, These rules may be called the Rice-Milling Industry
(legislation and Licensing) Amendment Rules, 1980. 2, In the Rice-Milling Industry (Regulation and Licensing) Rules, 1959,—
(i) in rule 6, for sub-rule (1), the follownig sub-rule shall be substituted, namely :—
"(1) Every licensee shall, before the licence is granted, deposit security at the following rates, for the due performance of the conditions subject to which the licence is granted to him :—
(a) Single hullcr type or At a uniform rate of (is. 200/-
chira Droilucing rice mill; —
(b) Rice mills other than Mills with capacity,—
single huller or chira (i) up to I tonne Rs. 1,000,'- producing mills;— (ii) above 1 tonne Rs. 2,000/-
and up to 2 tonnes
(i ij above 2tonrtes Rs, 3,000/-
and up to 3 tonnes
(iv) anove 3 tonnss Rs. 4,000/-
and up to 4 tonnes
(v) 4 tonnes and Rs. 5,000/-
above
(ii) in rule 9, for sub-rule (2), the following shall be sub-
stituted namely :—
"(2) Every licensee shall submit to the licensing officer a return in Form V for every month so as to reach the licensing officer before the 5th day of the next month."
(iii) in the Schedule, in Form V, for the existing heading,
the following heading shall be substituted, namely :—
"RETURN OF STOCKS, PRODUCTION, DELIVERIES AND BALANCE OF PADDY/RICE FOR THE MONTH E N D I N G— —."
