NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 18th July, 1980
G.S.R. 435(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by Section 58A read with Section 642 of the Companies Art, 1956 (1 of 1956), the Central Gov- ernment, in consultation with the Reserve Bank of India, hereby makes tha following rules further to amend the Companies (Acceptance of Deposits) Rule-., 1975, namely;—
1. (1) Thesa rules may be called the Companies (Acceptance of
Deposits) Fourth Amendment Rules, 1980.
(2) These rules shall come into force from the date of their publi-
cation in the Official Gazette.
2, In sub-clause (iii) of clause (b) of rule 2 of the Companies (Acceptance of Deposits) Rules, 1975, after the words "from the General Insurance Corpo- ration of India" and befoie the words "or from the Gujarat Industrial Invest- ment Corporation Limited", the following words ?hall bo inserted, namely:—
"and i;s subsidiaries namely, the National Insurance Company Limited, the New India Assurance Company Limited, the Oriental Fire and General Iir-urance Company Limited and the UnilcJ Fire and General Insurance Company Limited."
