Sub.: Export of Yarn, other than carpet yarn, manufactured fiom imported

wool.

F. No. 2/29/80-EI.—Attention Is invited to the Exports (Control) Amend- ment Order No. E(C)O, 1977/AM(171) dated the 22nd July, 1980, on the above subject.

2. It has been decided that the- export of yarn, both carpet as well as noii- carpet varieties made from indigenous wool, carpet yarn made of imported wool and shoddy yarn will be banned' with immediate effect.

3. Accordingly, the existing entry in Col, 2 against SI. No. 66 at puge 20 of the Policy Statement of Export Policy Book 1980-81 shall be substituted by the following entry :—

"Yarn, excluding those covered under entiy No. 38, of Pail 'A¹, Schedule I'
