ORDER New Delhi, the 22ml July, 1980

1, (1) This Order may be called the Jute (Licencing ami Control) Amend-
ment Order, 1980.
12) It shall come into force on the date of its publication in the Official
Gazette.
2. In the Jute (Licensing and Control) Order, 1961, after clause 8A, the
following clause shall be inserted, namely :—
"8B. Appeal.—fl) Any person aggrieved by tiny order of the Jule Com- missioner made under clause 8A may, within thirty days of the date of receipt of such order, prefer an appeal to the Central Govern- ment.
(2) On receipt of an appeal under sub-clause (I), the Central Government shall, after giving Ihe appellant an opportunity of being heard and after such further inquiry as may be necessary, pass such order on the appeal aw i( thinks fit."
