NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 12th August, 1980
S.O, 626(£).—In exercise of the powers conferred by Sub-section (3) and (4)
of Section 5A of the Dock Workers (Regulation of Employment) Act, 1948 (9 of 1948), the Central Government hereby appoints Shri R. H. M. DSilva, Deputy Chairman, Calcutta Port Trust, who is acting as Chairman, Calcutta Port Trust, as a member of the Calcutta Dock Labour Board, vice Shri S. R. Das, Chairman, Calcutta Port Trust, reverted to State Cadre with effect from 31st July, 1980 (A.N.) and also nominates h ta as the Chairman of the said Board and makes the following amendment in the notification at the Govern- ment of India in the Ministry of Shipping and Transport (Transport Wing) No. S.O. 148(E), dated the 27m January, 1978, namely :—
In the said notification :—
(i) under the heading "Members representing the Central Government" agafnst item 1, for the entry, "The Chairman, Calcutta Port Trust, Calcutta", the following entry shall be substituted, namely :
"Acting Chairman, Calcutta Port Trust, Calcutta",
(ii) for paragraph 2, the following shall be substituted, namely .—
"2. The Central Government hereby nominates Shri R. H. M. D' SIIVK, Deputy Chairman, Calcutta Port Trust, who is acting as Chairman, Calcutta Port Trust, Calcutta as the Chairman of the said Board".
