EXPORT TRADE CONTROL
Sub : Determination of quota for export of garments for the year 1981 under "Past Performance" Scheme.
File No. 2/54/80-EII.—Attention is invited to the Ministry of Commerce Public Notice No. 48-ETC(PN)|80, dated the 31st July, 1980, on the above subject.
2. On a review of the position and in partial modification of the provisions contained in the abovesaid Public Notice, it has been decided that even if a party does not have any exports during all of the years in the prescribed basic period, namely, 1977, 1978 and 1979, the exports in any two years or in any one year of this period, will be divisible by t!wo to arrive at the basic average exports during the basic period. Similarly, in cases where the exports during the year 1980 (upto 30th June, 1980) are also claimed for computation of 3. In terms of Para 3 l(a) of the aforesaid Public Notice, the applicant who had already o'Tiiuui 'Past l'eriun..ance' garments quota during the yeai 1980 was required to submit •hir11 g bin j;iWu) bill bill ot lading duly attested by Cus- ior^j'.ginal 01 photosta. copy. 4. The words "bank certificates" occurring in line 11 of paragraph 6 of the afoi^said Public Notice may be deemed to have been deleted.
5. The supporting documents mentioned in para 6 and required in terms of paragraph 5 of the Statement appearing at Annexure II of the aforesaid Public Notice, shall comp- rise of shipping bill|airway bill|bill of lading and bank-attest- e\i invoice.
6. It has further been decided to extend the last date for submission of applications for allotment! of garments quota to 2nd September, 1980.
7. The aforesaid Public Notice stands modified to the "c- tent mentioned above. All other terms and conditions of the abovesaid Public Notice will remain unchanged.
