NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 23rd August, 1980
S.O. 636(E),—In eAerciic of the powers conferred by sub-section (3) of fceetion 1 of the Employees' State Insurance Act, 1948 (34 of 1948), the Central Government hereby appoints the 24th August, 1980 as trie date on which the provisions of Chapter IV (except section 44 and 45 which have already been brought into force) and Chapters V and VI (except sub-section (1) of section 76 and sections 77, 78, 79 and 81 which have already been brought mlo iorce) of the said Act shall come into force in the following areas in the State of Punjab namely :—
"The areas within the revenue village of Sunet Had Bast No. 139, Jugiana Hud Bast No. 244, Dhandari Kalan Had Bast No. 241, Hi'saain I'vira Had Bait No. 100, and Habowal Khurd Had Bast No. 158 in the District of Ludhiana".
